NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 January 24 exam for both shifts. The evening Shift exam was held from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the student’s reaction, the evening shift paper was relatively easier than all previous shifts of 2025 and the corresponding shifts of the previous year,2024. According to candidates who appeared in the exam, the maths section was more difficult than the physics and chemistry. The maths section was lengthy and time-consuming as compared to others. NTA also conducted the JEE Mains January 24 shift 1 exam today which was held from 9 am to 12 noon.
The physics section included 3-4 questions from Magnetism, primarily based on graphical interpretations and maths section featured 3-4 questions from the topic of conic sections. As per students’ reactions, the physics subject questions were relatively easier than maths. Today’s evening shift paper was easy as compared to the previous shift and last year’s JEE Mains question paper.

Maths: JEE Mains 2025 January 24 Shift 2 maths section analysis
According to students, the math section of the January 24 2025 evening shift paper was moderately hard and more lengthy compared to physics and chemistry, consistent with the trends observed over the past two years. Moreover, the paper included 3-4 questions from the conic section and was easier as compared to the previous five shifts of the JEE Mains 2025 exam.
