The JEE Mains Jan 23 shift 1 exam 2025 commenced at 9 am. The JEE Mains Jan 23 shift 1 2025 will conclude at 12 noon. 

As per the NTA schedule, JEE Mains shift 1 candidate can login at 8:50 am to read instructions. The JEE Mains Jan 23 paper 2025 will begin at 9 am. 

As per JEE Mains Jan 22 shift 2 paper analysis, chemistry was the easiest section and maths section was comparatively difficult than physics.

Shivam, aiming to pursue CS or EC, is focusing on JEE Mains for now and plans to appear for JEE Advanced if all goes well. Shivam scored around 150 to 250 in JEE Mains mock test, so he is optimistic about performing well in exam today.

As per Jan 22 shift 1 paper analysis based on candidates' reactions, the chemistry and physics section were easy but mathematics section was a bit lengthy. 

Candidates are required to carry the hard copy of JEE Mains admit card 2025. As per NTA guidelines, digital copy of JEE Mains hall ticket 2025 will not be allowed. 

 Candidates can carry any of the following valid photo ID along with JEE Mains hall ticket 2025 

• Aadhaar Card 
• PAN card
• Voter ID
• Driving license
• Passport

The NTA will allow candidates to take bio-break during the conduct of JEE Mains exam 2025. However, biometric attendance and frisking will be done after the break. “Candidates will be frisked and biometric attendance will be taken again on entry from bio- break/toilets break,” the exam day guidelines read. 

"If religion or customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking," the NTA said in the advisory. 

NTA has scheduled the JEE Mains 2025 session 1 from January 22 to January 30. 

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main paper 2A and paper 2B BArch and BPlanning are also being held twice a year, January and April 2025. For session 1, the JEE Main paper 2 will be held on January 30. The NTA is yet to announce the JEE Main session 2 exam schedule.

Male candidates appearing in the JEE Main session 1 exams are advised not to wear shoes, footwear with thick soles or garments with large buttons. The NTA has also prohibited candidates from wearing cap and scarfs during the exam. 

The admit card for JEE Main exam 2025 has four pages. Page 1 has exam centre details and self-declaration form, page 2 has ‘important exam day guidelines, page 3 has advisory, page 4 has declaration form for non-Aadhaar candidates.

No. It is not mandatory to appear in both JEE Main session 1 and session 2. However, if a candidate chooses to appear in both sessions, then the NTA will consider the best of the JEE Main NTA score while preparing the rank list.

In the exam day advisory, the NTA asked candidates who have not opted for Aadhaar-authentication to reach the exam centre an hour before the exam timings for recording the biometrics. This verification process is being done to prevent incidents of impersonation. 

Yes. Candidates are allowed to wear jeans or any comfortable dress, which does not have large buttons or metallic items. 

Students will have to carry the following list of documents to the exam centre to be allowed entry.  

• JEE Main admit card 2025
• Duly-filled and signed self-declaration form. 
• Valid photo ID card such as Aadhaar or PAN. 
• Two passport-size photo, same as the one uploaded in application. 
• PwD certificate, if applicable.
• Transparent ball point pen.  

Entry inside the examination centre for JEE Main shift 1 exam today will begins at 7 am. Students with valid JEE Main admit card downloaded from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, government-issued photo ID card, passport-size photograph, and self-declaration form will be permitted inside the exam venue.

As per the JEE Main January 22 overall paper analysis, students found the day one exam to be 'easy to moderate' in difficulty level. The NTA conducted the BE, BTech paper 1 exams in both shifts. The mathematics section was tough and lengthy, several students claimed, while physics was easier compared to chemistry.   

The JEE Main 2025 is being conducted in two sessions for BTech admissions - January and April. The JEE Main session 1 exams will begin today and will continue till January 30 and JEE Main session 2 exams will commence from April 1 and will end on April 8.

The NTA will allow entry inside the JEE Main exam centre from 7 am for the morning shift. Candidates appearing in JEE Main January 23 shift 1 exams will have to report at the exam centre along with their admit card before 8: 30 am. The shift 1 exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, as per the JEE Main exam timings. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main January 23 shift 1 and 2 exams for BE, BTech paper 1 today. Around 13 lakh candidates will be appearing for the national-level engineering entrance exam this year.
