In the recent update, NTA has moved the JEE Main 2025 exam centres in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh to Varanasi in view of Mahakumbh for candidates appearing on January 28, 29, and 30.

The NTA has instructed candidates to ensure that the JEE Main question paper available on the computer allotted to them is as per the opted subject and medium. In case if it is different from the one opted, they are advised to inform the invigilator immediately.

The NTA will allow candidates to enter inside the exam centre for JEE Main January 24 shift 1 from 7 am to 8:30 am. Candidates will have to show their hall ticket at the entry gate to be allowed inside the centre. They will have to complete the admit card and photo ID verification process, biometric registration. Meanwhile, the invigilator will record the attendance manually.  

The JEE Main question paper for BE, BTech paper 1 will have three sections. Each section - physics, chemistry, and mathematics - will carry 20 questions in section A and 5 compulsory questions in section B. Exam pattern and marking scheme is given below.

The JEE Mains exam centers have been changed for a few cities in the past three days due to several reasons.

The NTA has changed the JEE Mains exam centre for candidates who have opted for Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Such candidates will appear in the Varanasi exam centre for January 28, 29, and 30 exams. 

Candidates will not be permitted entry inside the exam centre without the JEE Mains hall ticket. Students are required to fill the self-declaration form given on page 1 and carry it along with the admit card.  The undertaking is signed by the candidates to inform the NTA about any COVID-19 symptoms, details of quarantine, travel history. 

Students who appeared in the JEE Main January 23 shift 2 exam found errors in the physics and mathematics sections. The JEE Mains question paper with solutions will be available soon on the NTA's official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Meanwhile, several coaching centres have started publishing unofficial answers on the basis of memory-based questions. 

Candidates wearing religious clothing have been instructed to reach the exam centre early for mandatory frisking. As per the exam day guidelines, the NTA has only imposed three restrictions on candidates’ dress code. Candidates are not allowed to wear shoes, footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons.

Today is the third day of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025). The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the engineering entrance exam in 284 exam cities in India and 15 cities abroad for BE, BTech paper 1.
