NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon announce the exam schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per a notice from the Goa board, JEE Mains 2025 session 1 exam is expected to be conducted in the last week of January.

The NTA will issue the comprehensive information bulletin for JEE Main 2025, which will also carry the official exam schedule. the bulletin will provide candidates with essential details, including the timeline of the exam, the registration process, eligibility criteria, and the application fee structure.
It will also provide important information regarding the documents required for registration, guidelines for filling out the application form, instructions for uploading photographs and signatures, and the payment process for the application fee.
As per the latest update, the NTA has removed the optional questions in section B of all subjects in the JEE Main 2025 papers. This change applies to both paper 1 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech), as well as paper 2 for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning).
The JEE Main exam will be conducted for admission to engineering and architecture programmes at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and various other government and private institutions. Candidates who qualify JEE Mains 2025 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, which is a prerequisite for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admissions at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

JEE main 2025 Application Form: Documents required
To register for JEE Main 2025, candidates must upload the following documents in the specified format:
- The recent photograph should be in either colour or black and white, with 80% of the face (without a mask) visible, including the ears, against a white background.
- Both the scanned photograph and signature must be in JPG or JPEG format and clearly legible.
- The size of the scanned photograph should range from 10 KB to 200 KB.

"In the JEE-based admissions, fee remissions and fee waivers are provided right from the application stage.
