JEE Main 2025 result scorecard today? Cut-off, rank, toppers list expected soon

NEW DELHI: With the display of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) final answer key 2025 for session 1, it is expected that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the JEE Mains result 2025 for paper 1 (BE, BTech) today, based on past trends. Over the last three years, the JEE Main result arrived on the same day the answer key was issued, twice. JEE Main 2025 result scorecard will be made available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA has dropped 12 questions from the JEE Mains final answer key 2025. The testing agency will prepare the JEE Main session 1 results 2025 based on the final answer key only which has been finalised after considering the objections raised by the candidates against the JEE Main 2025 session 1 answer key and JEE Main response sheet 2025.

The number of candidates, overall difficulty level of the exam, and previous years' trends will determine the JEE Main 2025 session 1 result. While most of the shifts were rated overall moderate, aspirants found the JEE Main 2025 January 28 shift 1 as the toughest shift in JEE Mains 2025.

How will NTA prepare JEE Main session 1 results 2025?

NTA will use a normalisation method in JEE Main 2025 January session wherein raw scores of students will be converted into JEE Main 2025 percentile, since the exams were held in multiple shifts on multiple days resulting in differences in difficulty level.

JEE Main 2025 session 1 paper 1 was held in two shifts between January 22 and 29 in 289 examination cities across the country and 15 outside India. 94.4 percent of registered students turned up for the JEE Main 2025 January session exams. The JEE Main question paper 2025 comprised three sections – physics, chemistry, and mathematics – containing a total of 75 questions carrying 300 marks.
