As per last year’s trends, over 10 lakh candidates will be appearing for the computer-based test JEE Mains 2026 session 2 from April 2 to 8. The engineering college entrance exam will be held in dual shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The testing agency will issue the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 admit card three to four days before the exam date.
More than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 held in January. Only 2.5 lakh will qualify the college entrance test and will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced.
