As per the JEE Main Toppers 2026 Session 2 list, Meera Krishna R S and Suryathejus S, both from Kerala has secured 100 percentile in paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Gowri Sankar V from Kerala and Sarthak Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh has scored 100 percentile in paper 2B (B.Planning).
The NTA has released participation data for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (Paper 2). In the B.Arch category, 51,729 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 38,914 candidates appeared. In B.Planning, 22,051 students registered, while 15,654 actually took the exam. The figures indicate a notable drop between registrations and appearances across both programmes, reflecting typical attendance trends in competitive entrance examinations.

JEE Mains Session 2 Result 2026: Gender/category-wise data
NTA has released the gender- and category-wise distribution for JEE (Main) 2026. A total of 1,00,913 candidates registered for the exam, including 51,601 males and 49,312 females. Among them, the highest registrations were seen in the OBC-NCL category (37,314), followed by General (35,662), GEN-EWS (9,270), SC (12,644), and ST (6,023), with 347 PwBD candidates overall. Out of those registered, 71,423 candidates appeared for the exam, comprising 35,531 males and 35,892 females. Category-wise, 27,351 OBC-NCL candidates appeared, along with 24,401 from the General category, 7,324 GEN-EWS, 8,259 SC, and 4,088 ST, including 232 PwBD candidates. Overall, participation remained high across categories, with a nearly balanced gender representation among candidates who appeared.
