NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2023) session 1 answer key along with recorded responses and question paper for paper 1 and 2 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, today. Candidates who appeared in the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exams held from January 24 to February 1 can download the official answer key for BE, BTech, BArch, BPlanning by logging in using their application number, date of birth and security pin. After downloading the JEE answer key, question paper and response sheet, students will be able to check the probable scores using the JEE Main 2023 percentile, rank predictor. Since a large number of students appear in different shifts and dates, the NTA uses a normalisation method based on percentile score to declare results.

JEE Main 2023 percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
The JEE Main 2023 answer key will have correct answers and questions asked in session 1. Candidates will also be able to challenge the JEE Main answer key. They will also be able to download their JEE Main 2023 response sheets from the NTA official website. The JEE Main 2023 January session unofficial answer key PDF was released by various coaching centers immediately after each shift of session 1.
This year, the NTA announced that it will hold the engineering entrance exam in two sessions. The JEE Main session 2 registration will begin from February 7, 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 exam dates for session 2 are April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

Candidates can check the JEE Main 2023 result when it is released on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA has not announced the JEE Main result date yet.
The NTA announced the JEE Main 2023 session 1 answer key along with recorded responses and question paper for paper 1 and 2 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE Main 2023 session 2 registrations will be available from February 7 to March 7 at JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 April session exam will be held from April 6 to 12, 2023.
Candidates can only change their state code of eligibility in JEE Main online form 2023. The option to change primary information such as the date of birth is not available.

No, NTA has not given an official date for the announcement of the JEE Main 2023 results. Candidates can download the JEE Main answer key along with the response key and question paper on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
"It is important to note that the State code of Eligibility does NOT depends upon the native place/permanent address or the place of residence of the candidate. The JEE Main BTech and BE paper consist of 90 MCQs for a total of 300 marks. The BArch has 82 questions for total 400 marks and BPlanning paper has 105 MCQs for a total of 400 marks.

The NTA will be preparing the final JEE Main 2023 result on the basis of the revised JEE Main answer key 2023. Candidates can raise objections to the answer key till February 4, 2023.
Candidates that are not satisfied with the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key, may challenge it by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee.

Over 9 lakh candidates applied for JEE Main 2023 session 1 including more than 8.6 lakh candidates for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) and over 0.46 lakh candidates for Paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning). Of total candidates in Paper 1, over 6 lakh were male and 2.6 lakh were female whereas in Paper 2, over 25,000 were male and 21,000 were female.

The JEE Main marks vs percentile vs rank are the percentile scores corresponding to marks in the NTA JEE Main exam. NTA adopts a unique normalization formula to arrive at JEE Main 2023 marks vs percentile as students appear in different shifts and exam dates. This is also done to ensure that candidates are neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination in different shifts.
Candidates who already applied for JEE Main 2023 session 1 and who wish to appear in April session will have to submit new application form when the JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration window opens on February 7.

The NTA converts the raw score in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and the conversion of the total into NTA scores. Overall merit shall be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days.

The NTA has released the JEE Main 2022 provisional answer key at the official website. Applicants will be able to raise objections in the provisional JEE Mains answer key by paying Rs 200 per question to raise an objection in the answer key of JEE Mains. The JEE Main question IDs will be in sequential order.
The NTA this year gives two attempts for aspirants. A candidate need not appear in both sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session then his/her best of the JEE Main 2023 NTA scores will be considered for preparation of the Merit List/ Ranking.

2. Click on the JEE Main answer key challenge link available on the homepage.
3. Log in with JEE application number, date of birth and security pin.

5. Select the question ID with incorrect answer and mark the correct answer.
6. Upload supporting documents and click on the save option.
7. Verify the challenge and click on 'Save your claim and pay fee finally'.
8. Pay the processing fee of Rs 200 through debit, credit or net banking. 9. Download the receipt for further reference.
