Candidates can check the JEE Main 2023 result when it is released on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA has not announced the JEE Main result date yet. 

The NTA announced the JEE Main 2023 session 1 answer key along with recorded responses and question paper for paper 1 and 2 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

The JEE Main 2023 session 2 registrations will be available from February 7 to March 7 at JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 April session exam will be held from April 6 to 12, 2023.

Candidates can only change their state code of eligibility in JEE Main online form 2023. The option to change primary information such as the date of birth is not available.

Candidates can now edit JEE Main state code of eligibility, category in JEE Main online form from February 3 to 5 PM on February 5, 2023. 

In other news, NTA is likely to open the CUET UG 2023 application forms soon at official website- cuet.samarth.ac.in. The NTA CUET UG 2023 exam will be held from May 21 to 31, 2023. 

No, NTA has not given an official date for the announcement of the JEE Main 2023 results. Candidates can download the JEE Main answer key along with the response key and question paper on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

"It is important to note that the State code of Eligibility does NOT depends upon the native place/permanent address or the place of residence of the candidate. If a candidate has got wrong State code of Eligibility in his/her Admit Card as per the above criteria, then he/she can change the State Code of Eligibility in the Online Application Form from February 3 to 5 PM on February 5, 2023," read the NTA notice.

The JEE Mains result 2023 for January session is likely to be out on February 6, a day before the notified date, February 7, the Times of India reported.

The NTA will be preparing the final JEE Main 2023 result on the basis of the revised JEE Main answer key 2023. Candidates can raise objections to the answer key till February 4, 2023. 

 Candidates that are not satisfied with the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key, may challenge it by paying a fee of Rs 200  per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee.

The JEE Main session 2 registration will begin from February 7, 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 April session exam dates for session 2 are April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

As of now, no official dates for the JEE Main 2023 January session results have been confirmed but it is likely to be released before the commencement of the JEE Main session 2 exam.

Over 9 lakh candidates applied for JEE Main 2023 session 1 including more than 8.6 lakh candidates for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) and over 0.46 lakh candidates for Paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning). Of total candidates in Paper 1, over 6 lakh were male and 2.6 lakh were female whereas in Paper 2, over 25,000 were male and 21,000 were female.

The NTA had restored the 75% eligibility criteria. Later after numerous requests, the NTA relaxed the 75% criterion and announced students who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

Tie between candidates obtaining equal total NTA scores in JEE Main 2023 paper 1 BE/BTech will be resolved in the following manner in descending order:

• NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
• NTA score in Physics, followed by
• NTA score in Chemistry, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects, followed by
• Candidate with less number of attempted incorrect answers in Mathematics, followed by
• Candidate with less number of attempted incorrect answers in Physics, followed by
• Candidate with less number of attempted incorrect answers in Chemistry, followed by
• Older in age followed by
• Application number in ascending order

The NTA converts the raw score in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and the conversion of the total into NTA scores. Overall merit shall be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days.
