Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 2 exam tomorrow, April 4. The exam will be held in two shifts. The timings for JEE Main April session exam are 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the JEE Main dress code guidelines to be adhered to while appearing for the JEE Mains session 2 exam 2024.

NTA provides the JEE Main dress code guidelines to curb the use of unfair means. Additionally, candidates will be frisked before the exam and after toilet breaks as well. Candidates are prohibited from carrying any electronic devices inside the exam hall. The JEE Main 2024 session 2 dress code guidelines for male and female candidates are as follows:

The key points of the JEE Main dress code guidelines are as follows.

Students should not wear any kind of jewellery or ornaments or any kind of metallic items or any cloth or items containing metal.

Wearing a cap, stole, dupatta, scarf, muffler or any cloth that covers the head is prohibited.

Candidates are advised to opt for open footwear such as slippers or sandals.

Students should also avoid wearing goggles, rings, bracelets, or other items.

Wear simple and comfortable clothes. Avoid wearing something with too many pockets.
Candidates have to carry the JEE Main admit card and the self-declaration form on the day of the exam. NTA has issued the JEE Mains 2024 admit card for the exams scheduled for April 4, 5 and 6. The admit card for all other days will be released in due course. Candidates have to use their application number and date of birth to download the admit card.
