NEW DELHI: The second day of JEE Main 2021 exam is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode today. The exam authorities have successfully conducted the first shift of JEE Main 2021 paper 1 exam. As per students' reaction, the JEE Main 2021 exam on February 24 morning shift was moderate to difficult. Candidates can check the detailed JEE Main analysis here for paper 1.

JEE Main 2021 Feb 24 Shift 1 Analysis by Vidhyamandir

  • JEE Main 2021 Paper of 3 hours of PCM
  • Each section had 30 questions with a choice of 5 questions in integer type.
  • Chemistry - Questions were asked from the periodic table, chemical bonding, equilibrium, solutions & organic concepts.
  • Physics - Three questions from semiconductors, one question from units and measurement. The syllabus of Class 12 was more dominated over Class 11. There was no question from rotation. Also, questions were asked from modern physics, current electricity, and thermodynamics.
  • Mathematics- Paper was not lengthy and questions asked from coordinate geometry, calculus, matrices & determinant vectors & 3D.

JEE Main 2021 Paper Analysis - February 24 (Forenoon Shift)

The JEE Main exam analysis is based on the feedback of candidates who appeared in the exam. The followings are the paper analysis of JEE Main 2021 which was conducted on February 24 from 9 AM to 12 PM.

  • According to the JEE Main exam analysis got from students, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate.
  • Mathematics section was quite moderate to difficult. Questions were asked from topics like quadratic equations, height & distance, probability, mathematical reasoning, coordinate geometry, limit & differentiation, calculus, integration, arithmetic mean, the area under the curve, parabola, vector and 3D, matrices, circle, determinants, etc
  • Physics part was moderate. Most questions were asked from Modern Physics and questions came from topics like transistors, diode, kinematics, friction, atoms & nuclei, wavelength, nuclear physics, etc.
  • Chemistry section was easy to moderate. Questions were asked more from Organic Chemistry. All the MCQs were theory-based and numerical questions were tough.
  • Students face no technical glitch throughout the exam.
  • A proper social distancing maintained by students and exam authorities.

The National Testing Agency is conducting the first session of JEE Main 2021 exam from February 23 to 26 in two shifts. The JEE Main 2021 entrance exam is scheduled to be held in two sessions - forenoon (shift 1) and afternoon (shift 2) in 331 cities of the country and 10 cities in other countries.
