Try NowNEW DELHI : In what might be another blot on NTA’s reputation, several JEE Main 2025 candidates have complained of errors in JEE Main response sheet 2025 for session 2 exams. Alleging wrongly marked responses and blank spaces in their answer sheets, students and their parents have urged the National Testing Agency to review the ‘blunder’ and publish error-free Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 result.

The allegations surface amid reports of mistakes in JEE Main 2025 session 2 provisional answer key issued recently. First reported by the Times of India (TOI), some students from Kota have claimed that the JEE Mains 2025 April 9 question paper has nine wrong answers including four in physics, three in chemistry, and two in mathematics. The aspirants have reportedly requested NTA to either drop these questions or award bonus marks for them, after raising objections.
Referring to the TOI report, several opposition leaders hit out at the testing agency, questioning its capability to conduct national entrance exams. “The NTA is already facing questions over the conduct of competitive exams - last year's CUET-UG, NEET-UG answer sheets also had errors. Is the NTA capable of conducting these exams? Was the tension of unemployment and paper leaks not enough for our youth that now they have to deal with a weak NTA as well?,” said Congress leader Supriya Shirante in a Hindi post on X.
The facility to challenge the JEE Main 2025 session 2 answer key is already over and NTA is supposed to declare the JEE Main session 2 result 2025 by April 17. JEE Main 2025 April session was held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9.
JEE Main Result 2025: Erroneous answer sheets
While flagging errors in the JEE Main session 2 response sheet 2025, students and parents also complained that NTA is not responding to their mails.
A student alleged that he selected the first option as the answer to a physics question but his response sheet is showing the second one. He appeared for JEE Main 2025 April 3 shift 2 exam.
Expressing worry about her daughter who took the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam, a parent named Rekha Verma posted on X, “My daughter has attempted 50 questions buy it is showing 48. So many questions showing the wrong attempt. We will mail to NTA for this blunder. I am very worried for her.”
Another parent expressed shock over the incident and lamented that it happened to her daughter who is a consistent performer and solved several mock tests. “Indeed my daughter attempted 71 questions. During submission it showed 71 questions attempted & now in the response sheet it is showing all questions as unanswered! Shocking ! NTA is playing with the future of children. No response on email!,” he said in a post.
“Actually we are also experiencing similar issue on answer sheet shared by NTA. We request to the management to review and publish error free results,” added another guardian.
Mother of another JEE Main candidate, who is apparently at loss too, claimed that the girl consistently scored 180-190 in all practice tests and for several questions, the answer sheet shows incorrect options which were not marked by her.
JEE Main response sheet 2025 'blank'
Besides wrongly recorded responses, the issue of ‘blank’ sheet also emerged. An X user wrote, “Answers submitted were not considered and shows up as "blank". An email to NTA went unanswered. Ridiculous that they conduct an exam for such premier institutes and are least bothered about the transparency. “Who will guard the guards?"
In another case of non-display of answer, another X user said that same happened with his sister as well. One question's option is not showing what she chose. The user asked for help and corrections.
