The JEE Main merit list has been prepared by compiling the NTA percentile score obtained by all candidates based on the final answer key. The NTA conducted the BE, BTech paper 1 exams on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 in multiple shifts and BArch and BPlanning paper 2 on January 30.
A total of 13,78,232 candidates registered for the JEE Mains session 1 exams for paper 1 and paper 2. Out of them, 13,00,273 candidates appeared in both paper 1 and 2. The overall attendance was recorded at 94.4%.

The NTA JEE Main scorecard download link is available on the new official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025. Candidates will have to enter their JEE Main application number, password and security pin as displayed on the screen to check the marks obtained in BE, BTech paper 1. The JEE Main result link 2025, however, is showing '500 internal server error' .
The entrance exam was held in 584 exam centres located in 284 exam cities in India and 15 cities abroad. This year, the number of JEE Main exam centres were reduced in India and abroad as well. The engineering entrance exam was held in 13 languages - Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
How to check JEE Mains results 2025
Candidates can check the JEE Main session 1 results by following the steps given below.
- Visit the NTA JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025.
- Click on the JEE Main session 1 January 2025 results BE, BTech paper 1 on the homepage.
- The JEE Mains result link will be displayed. Enter your application number and password.
- Now, key in the security pin as displayed on the screen.
- Submit the JEE Main login credentials entered in the link.
- The page will be redirected to the JEE Main scorecard and result PDF.
- Check all the details entered in the JEE Main result card and download it for future reference.
JEE Main cut-off 2025
The JEE Main cut-off 2025 for BE, BTech paper 1 is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, candidates can check the JEE Main category-wise cut-offs for IIT JEE Advanced exam 2025 , as per previous year’s results.

Notably, the NTA collected Rs 3,514 crore in exam fees and Rs 449.21 crore in profits over the past 6 years. Several city exam coordinators from different states - most of them school principals - told Careers360 that the NTA is yet to pay their dues. In December 2024, the Union education minister said that the NTA will be restructured in 2025 and at least 10 new posts will be created.
