While the overall difficulty level was not excessively high, certain questions were both difficult and lengthy, making this section the most challenging.

In the JEE Mains BE, BTech shift 1 question paper, section B in chemistry had more questions from physical chemistry. Two questions from unit and dimensions, which is a “basic chapter” in mathematics, students said. In the physics section, optics questions required too many calculations.

NTA has started the JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam at 9 am today. The exam will get over at 12 pm. The shift 2 exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre for shift 2 exam at least one hour before the exam ends.

Candidates have to carry the admit card of JEE Main 2025, address proof for JEE Mains along with all the other documents to the exam centre. Candidates who do not have the NTA JEE Mains hall ticket 2025 will not be permitted to take the exam under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent. NTA has not issued specific guidelines for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 dress code. However, students should wear simple clothing and avoid caps, scarves, accessories, electronic devices, jeans, or outfits with multiple pockets or metallic items, as these are prohibited in the exam hall.

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam from today, April 2. The JEE Main April 2 exam will be conducted in two shifts.
