The JEE Main 2025 April 2 shift 2 answer key will be released soon by subject experts and various coaching centres. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Mains 2025 April 2 shift 2 paper will also share their reactions and paper feedback after the shift 2 exam. The JEE Main 2025 shift 1 exam was easier compared to the January session. The mathematics section was less lengthy, making it more manageable for students. The physics and chemistry sections were moderately difficult.
The JEE Mains exam will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will take place in two shifts on April 2, 3, 4, and 7, while on April 8, it will be conducted in a single shift.
The JEE Main session 2 shift 1 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and shift 2 will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm. On April 9, the JEE Main 2025 will be conducted for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) – Paper 2A – and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning) – Paper 2B – in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon. Engineering aspirants appearing for both Paper 2A and Paper 2B will get an additional 30 minutes to complete their exam.
The testing agency has issued the JEE Main admit card 2025 for exams scheduled on April 2, 3, and 4. Engineering aspirants can download their admit card from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE main 2025 admit card for the remaining exam dates will be made available soon on the website.
As per the revised JEE Main exam pattern 2025, Paper 1 will have 75 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a total of 300 marks. Each section includes 25 compulsory questions, 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 5 numerical value questions (NVQs), with no optional questions.

JEE Main Session 2: Guidelines for exam day
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 exam tomorrow, April 3 in dual shifts. First shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates, who will appear for the JEE Mains 2025 session 2 remaining exams, can see the exam day guidelines from below.
- Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing instruments/geometry/pencil boxes, handbags, purses, any paper/stationery/textual material (printed or written), food and water (loose or packed), mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders, or wearing/carrying any type of watch, including electronic watches with calculator features, metallic items, or electronic gadgets/devices into the Examination Hall/Room.
- Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle
- Entry started as soon as the students will reach at the entry point.
- This time, candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025 will have to undergo frisking and biometric attendance after toilet breaks as well.

Engineering aspirants can download their JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card by visiting the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to use their login details, such as application number and password, to download their JEE Main admit card 2025.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Things to carry
Engineering aspirants appearing for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam today must carry their JEE Main admit card 2025, a valid photo ID proof, and two passport-size photographs to the exam hall. Candidates are not allowed to carry prohibited items such as electronic devices.

NTA has not issued specific guidelines for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 dress code. However, students should wear simple clothing and avoid caps, scarves, accessories, electronic devices, jeans, or outfits with multiple pockets or metallic items, as these are prohibited in the exam hall.

Entry to the JEE Main shift 1 exam centre has begun at 7 am. Candidates with a valid JEE Main admit card 2025 downloaded from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, along with a government-issued photo ID, passport-size photograph, and self-declaration form are being allowed inside the exam venue.

JEE Main 2025 April 2 shift 1 exam timings
The NTA will open entry to the JEE Main exam centre from 7 am for the morning shift. Engineering aspirants appearing for the April 2 shift 1 exam will have to report to the JEE main exam centre with their admit card before 8:30 am. As per the JEE Main exam schedule, shift 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon.
