As per JEE Main 2025 Jan 28 shift 2 exam analysis by Ajay Sharma, academic director, Aakash Educational Services Limited, the paper was moderate to difficult. Sharma said, "Chemistry stood out as the easiest and a time-saver for students, while Mathematics was the most challenging due to its lengthy calculations. Physics fell in between, being moderate to difficult. "
As per Sharma, in JEE Mains Jan 28 shift 2 mathematics section, statistics questions were absent. "While the questions weren’t excessively difficult conceptually, many involved lengthy and time-intensive calculations, making the section particularly challenging," commented Sharma.
