JEE Mains 2025 LIVE: NTA JEE session 1 results on February 12; April session registration ongoing, cut-offs

You can attempt JEE Advanced for a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. However, this year Supreme Court has allowed candidates who dropped out from BTech courses from November 5 to 18 to appear in the JEE Advanced exam.

Candidates securing 1 to 10 marks in the JEE entrance exam are expected to be placed in 0.7-13 percentile range, while candidates scoring 41-61 marks can expect 70-84 percentile in JEE Mains.

Candidates can register for the JEE Mains 2025 April session till February 25, 2025.

According to the coaching centre experts' and students who appeared for the exam, the JEE Main 2025 January 28 shift 1 exam was considered the toughest shift in session.

The JEE Main Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between April 1 and April 8 at various exam centres.

IIT Kanpur has announced the JEE Advanced 2025 exam date. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date is May 18, 2025.

The NTA held the JEE Mains session 1 exam in 584 exam centers in 284 cities in India and 15 cities abroad. The national-level engineering entrance exam for 13 lakh candidates was conducted in two shifts spanning 6 days.

The JEE Main application form 2025 for session 1 exams scheduled to be held between April 1 and 8 is available at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The registration form will look like the image given below.

The registration for the JEE Main April session 2025 is underway for second-attempt candidates and those applying for the first attempt. The NTA started the JEE Mains registration for session 2 on January 31 and will close on February 24. Applicants will have to submit the JEE form by 9 pm on the last date.
