Students and parents often search for “Who is the JEE Main topper in 2025?” after the JEE Main 2025 results are declared. Engineering aspirants who appeared for the entrance exam can check the JEE Main 2025 toppers list through the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Two female candidates have scored a perfect 100 in the exam. Devdutta Majhi from West Bengal and Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh have emerged among the top scorers with full marks.
The list of JEE Main 2025 toppers includes names of candidates along with their NTA score or percentile, application number, state of eligibility, all India rank, category and gender. In case multiple candidates have the same NTA score, the tie-breaking rule is applied.
JEE Main 2025 was conducted in two sessions — session 1 in January and session 2 in April. The exam was held in multiple shifts. Since the difficulty level of questions can vary across shifts, NTA uses a normalisation method to calculate the percentile scores. These normalised NTA scores are used to prepare the JEE Main 2025 final merit list.
The JEE Main 2025 score is used for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions. It also serves as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2025 . Based on the results of JEE-Main, around 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam, which serves as the gateway to the 23 IITs.
