JEECUP 2024 exam begins today; guidelines, things to carry

JEECUP 2024 Today: Candidates are required to carry their admit card and a valid photo Id to the exam centre.
NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh will conduct the JEECUP 2024 exam from today, June 13. The JEECUP 2024 exam will conclude on June 20.The reserve dates are set for June 19 and 20. Also, there is no exam on June 17.

The JEECUP 2024 exam will be held in a computer-based test format. The medium of the JEECUP 2024 will be English and Hindi. The paper will only have multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 100 questions. The questions will be asked from physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.

Candidates are permitted to carry the following inside the JEECUP 2024 exam hall.
- JEECUP 2024 admit card
- Valid photo Id
- Blue or black pen
- Transparent water bottle
- Disability certificate (If applicable)
JEECUP 2024 exam day guidelines
Candidates can have a look at the JEECUP 2024 exam day guidelines below.
- Admit card : Carry your JEECUP 2024. Ensure the admit card has your photo and signature.
- Photo Id: Carry a valid photo Id such as Aadhar card, Pan card, Driving licence, Voter Id card.
- No cheating: Cheating in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes copying from another candidate, communicating with others, or attempting to access information from notes.
- No unauthorized materials: Items such as notes, textbooks, mobile phones, smart watches, earphones are prohibited.
- No leaving early: Remain seated until the designated end time of the exam unless there's an emergency or specific permission from the exam proctor.
- No unauthorized writing: For rough work use only the writing pad that will be provided inside the exam centre. Writing on any other materials, such as desks, walls, or scratch paper, is not allowed.
