JEECUP Counselling 2026 begins at jeecup.admissions.nic.in; round 1 seat allotment on July 1

The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the round 1 JEECUP counselling 2026 today, June 25, 2026 on the official website of JEECUP at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The last date to choose filling and locking is June 30, 2026.

The counselling schedule for pharmacy programmes will be announced separately. However, the ongoing counselling process will cover admissions to engineering and various diploma courses offered by institutions across the state.

According to the JEECUP 2026 counselling schedule, the round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will be able to choose between the freeze and float options and complete document verification at the designated district help centres from July 2 to July 5, 2026.

JEECUP 2026 Counselling: Steps to apply

To fill out the choice, applicants can follow the steps given below:

• Go to the counselling portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in
• Applicants need to sign in with their application number or login ID and password
• Select and submit as many college and course preferences as permitted to improve admission opportunities

The document verification process will continue until July 6, 2026. Candidates who wish to cancel their allotted seat can apply for withdrawal from round 1 counselling on July 6, 2026.

JEECUP 2026 Counselling: Eligibility criteria

Candidates eligible to participate in the JEECUP 2026 counselling process include Uttar Pradesh residents who appeared for the UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 examination, as well as candidates from other states who completed their qualifying examination from an institution located in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, children of Central Government employees serving in Uttar Pradesh are also eligible to apply for admission through the counselling process.
