JEEP 2026 exam date out for polytechnic admission; registration from January 15

JEEP Registration 2026: Candidates will be able to access the application form in both online and offline modes.
The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP 2026) exam date for polytechnic admission. As per the schedule, the JEEP 2026 registration process will begin on January 15 and will remain open until April 15.
Candidates will be able to access the JEEP 2026 application form on the official websites ubter.in and ubterjeep.co.in.
The board will also release the offline OMR-based application forms on February 2. Candidates can collect the JEEP application form from designated polytechnic institutes and submit it in person by April 15.

The JEEP exam is conducted for admission to diploma courses in engineering, technology, textile design, garment technology, fashion design, and pharmacy offered by government, women’s, rural, aided, and private polytechnic institutions affiliated with UBTER.
Candidates seeking admission to the second year of the diploma in engineering course through lateral entry are required to qualify for the Uttarakhand JEEP diploma entrance exam.
Uttarakhand JEEP 2026: Eligibility criteria
For group E and T—Diploma in engineering, technology, textile design, garment technology, and fashion design, candidates must have passed the high school examination or an equivalent examination.
For group P—Diploma in pharmacy, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics, or an equivalent examination.
For group A— admission through lateral entry into the second year of the Diploma in engineering, candidates should have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or a vocational/ technical subject, or have completed a two-year ITI course.
