Try NowNEW DELHI; May 20: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has issued the admit card on May 20, 2019. Candidates who have completed registration can download the admit card from the official website jipmer.edu.in, in order to appear for the undergraduate exam on June 2, 2019. Being a mandatory document, JIPMER admit card 2019 should be carried at the allotted exam centre with the valid ID proof and passport size photograph.
The exam for MBBS courses is to be held in a computer-based mode for the admission to 200 seats offered in two campuses located in Puducherry and Karaikal. Being an Institute of National Importance, JIPMER and AIIMS exams are out of NEET ambit. Along with the admit card, the authority has also released mock test for the candidates. With the help of mock test, candidates will be able to practice for the entrance examination.
The MBBS exam containing 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be held only in English only. Out of total questions, 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, while Logical & Quantitative Reasoning and English Comprehension will contain 10 questions each.
For the convenience of medical students, here are the steps to download the admit card of JIPMER MBBS 2019:

Go to the official website - jipmer.edu.in

On the candidate login page, enter the login credentials - User ID and password

Click on the hall ticket tab to download it

Select the examination in the assessment tab and click on search

A tab to download the hall ticket will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

On clicking the download the tab, the admit card will be saved in the computer.

Cross-check the details mentioned and take at least four to five printouts of the hall tickets.
JIPMER MBBS hall ticket, which displays the name, date of birth, category, exam centre name and address, shift, date and time of exam and other guidelines to be followed, must be preserved after the conclusion of the entrance exam.
Grievances in JIPMER MBBS Admit Card 2019
After the admit card is downloaded, if a candidate finds any discrepancy in the admit card related to date, time, name, spelling mistakes, or cannot download the admit card and other similar issues must immediately contact the JIPMER, Puducherry admission authorities along with the relevant proofs.
Guidelines to download the admit card
Since more than 2 lakh aspirants registered for JIPMER exam for MBBS course, therefore, candidates might experience some technical issues while downloading the admit card, due to heavy traffic on the official website. Thus, students are advised not to panic and try after some time with a better Internet connection.
