JK Business School: PGDM students placed in eCommerce, EdTech, software firms

NEW DELHI: JK Business School has concluded its annual placements for 2020-21 session for the Post Graduate Diploma in management students. While the highest international annual salary package received by the PGDM students is 24 lakh, that for domestic is 16 lakh. The average and median salaries have increased to 5.05 lakhs and 3.83 lakhs per annum respectively, as per a statement from JKBS.
Around 82 organizations participated in the annual placements in JKBS including top recruiters such as EY, Berger Paints, Flipkart, Transport Corporation of India, Decathlon, Ameriprise Financial, Future Supply Chain, Unison International, BYJUs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Pristyncare, and Vedantu.

This year, 19 students have been placed in four big organizations while 16 students have been hired by EY. Apart from that, students were also placed in banking, logistics, FMCG, recruitment firm, retail, IT, healthcare etc., as per a statement from JK Business School.
The PGDM programme is a two year course that focuses on subjects like finance, marketing, human resources, business analytics, digital marketing and analytics, logistics, and global business.
Besides, the programme also offers modules like placement preparatory programme, communicative english, outbound team building programme, industry interaction, personality, and soft skills development, corporate etiquettes, entrepreneurship, financial planning for young investors, project management skills, digital marketing, etc.

Sanjiv Marwah, Director, JK Business School, said: “With the outbreak of the pandemic, many young graduating management students across the nation are still facing high levels of uncertainty in terms of placement. Whereas, the students of the batch of 2021 of JK Business School achieved a stellar placement record with the highest package increased to 24 lakh as compared to 12.40 last year despite the turbulence of the global pandemic.”
