NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the Classes 10, 11 and 12 board exam 2024 date sheet for the soft zone areas on the official website – jkbose.nic.in. The JKBOSE will conduct the Class 10 exam in the soft zone area will be held from March 7 and April 3, 2024.
The board exam for Class 11 in these areas will start on March 30 and end on April 25. The Jammu and Kashmir Class 12 board exam will be held from March 6 to 28. The board will soon release the separate board exams date sheet for hard zones in the state, Greater Kashmir added.
As per the JBOSE records, around 444 schools- 309 in Jammu and 135 in Kashmir division fall in hard zones while seven zones of Kargil district and whole Ladakh area fall in hard zones.
In the last academic year, 1,18,791 of 1,48,701 students cleared the JK Class 10 board exams. The overall pass percentage was 79.89 – 78.23% for boys and 81.68% for girls. In JK Class 12 board exam, 1,27,636 students from across Jammu and Kashmir appeared in the exams of which 82,441 have successfully qualified.
