JKSSB SI Application 2024: Candidates will be able to apply for JKSSB SI recruitment 2024 through the official website, jkssb.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued the notification for the recruitment of various Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) department. The JKSSB SI application process will commence from December 3, 2024. Candidates will be able to apply for JKSSB SI recruitment 2024 through the official website, jkssb.nic.in.
This JKSSB recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 669 vacancies of sub inspectors in the department. Candidates will be able register for JKSSB SI recruitment 2024 till January 2, 2025. Aspirants must ensure to complete the application process before the deadline.
To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must be graduates and fall within the age limit of 18 to 28 years as of January 1, 2024.

JKSSB SI Recruitment 2024: Written Examination
The written exam is the first major stage in the selection process. It typically consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the following sections:
- General Knowledge & General Awareness: Includes questions on current affairs, history, geography, and culture of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as national and international events.
- Reasoning Ability: Logical and analytical reasoning questions that test problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Basic mathematics, including topics like arithmetic, algebra, and data interpretation.
- General English: Questions related to English grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
