JMI Admission 2026: Offline spot registration starts on August 17; ODL application deadline extended

JMI Admission 2026: Students can apply for 49 ODL courses on the official website admission.jmi.ac.in by September 8
The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the dates for JMI spot admission 2026 for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Additionally, the last date to fill application forms for CDOE online and open and distance learning (ODL) mode programmes for the academic year 2026-27 has been extended till September 8.
JMI is offering spot admissions for students whose roll numbers are mentioned in the waiting list for particular courses. Those who have missed the admissions due to any reason can apply for spot admissions.
JMI offline spot admission is open for MA, MSc, MTech, BA, BFA, MFA, LLM abd several diploma courses. Students can register for JMI spot admission 2026 from August 17. The results will be available between August 17 and 18 and the admission process will be held on August 19 and 20.
Candidates will have to report at auditorium of faculty of engineering and technology, gate number 1, JMI between 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates will also have to carry their admission form and admit card at the time of spot admission.

JMI Admission 2026 for online courses
Under the JMI Admission 2026 process, candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifying exam marks and performance in the interview. In addition to degree programmes, the university is offering admissions to postgraduate diploma, advanced diploma, diploma, and certificate programmes across various disciplines.
Before applying for online courses, students must check the eligibility criteria and also create an ABC ID and a DEB ID to fill out the admission application form.
JMI is offering 49 courses through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Students can apply for ODL courses on the official website at admission.jmi.ac.in.
