JMI invites applications for free coaching for civil services exam 2022

JMI’s Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) has called for applications from minority, SC, ST, and women candidates.
NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)’s Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) has invited applications for free coaching programme for the preparation of Civil Services (Preliminary-cum-main) Examination 2022 from minority, SC, ST, and women candidates.
The online application went live on August 10 at jmi.ac.in and the last day to apply for the free coaching programme is September 6, 2021. There are a total of 150 seats available, a statement from JMI said.
“Only those candidates who have already completed their graduation and are eligible for applying to Civil Services 2022 need to apply,” the JMI statement said.
The coaching centre will conduct an entrance test (objective-type) based on UPSC’s model on September 18. The test will be held from 10am to 1pm at Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar, Lucknow, Guwahati, Malappuram (Kerala), Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Patna.

“The Written test would comprise of general studies (objective-type) on UPSC's model (in English, Hindi, or Urdu) and essay writing in English, Hindi, or Urdu to test candidates' knowledge of general awareness, logical thinking, reasoning and comprehension,” the JMI statement added.
The results of the written test will be declared on September 30. After the declaration of results, students will be interviewed from October 11 to 22. The final result for candidates will be announced on October 29 at 5pm. Moreover, the admission of waiting list candidates will be done by October 12.
While the last date for completion of admission is November 8, the classes under the free coaching programme will commence on November 16 from 11am.
