JMI invites applications for free coaching for UPSC CSE 2024
Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy will begin registration from March 18. SC, ST, women can apply. Know important dates, eligibility here.

NEW DELHI: Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), is inviting applications for free coaching for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2024. Candidates from minority, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and females can apply for the programme from March 18. The last date to submit the JMI RCA application form is May 25, 2024.
Students who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply. Jamia will conduct an entrance test for admitting students to the academy. A total of 100 seats are available this year. Aspirants will have to pay Rs 950 to apply for the entrance exam.
JMI RCA admission 2024 schedule
Jamia will conduct the entrance examinations at 10 centres including Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Malappuram.

JMI RCA exam pattern
The written test will be divided into two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will contain 100 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. Paper 2 will consist of essay writing of 60 marks. The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours. There will be negative marking and one-third of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
JMI RCA admission 2024 process
The interview will be held in online mode for 40 marks. In case of a tie, preference will be given to students having higher marks in interview and then younger candidates.
