JMI RCA to close registration for free UPSC CSE coaching test on May 28

UPSC CSE 2026: Eligible aspirants can apply for entrance test on admission.jmi.ac.in by paying Rs 1,200.
Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), is inviting applications for free coaching for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2026. Candidates from minority, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories and female aspirants can apply for the free UPSC coaching by May 28, 2025 on admission.jmi.ac.in.
Students who have completed their graduation and are eligible for UPSC Civil Services exam can apply for RCA JMI entrance test. Jamia will conduct a test for admitting students to 100 seats in the academy. Aspirants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200 to apply for the entrance exam.
JMI will conduct the entrance test at 12 centres including Delhi, Jaipur, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Calicut.
JMI RCA 2025 exam pattern
As per the RCA exam pattern 2025, the duration of exam will be three hours. The test will be divided into two parts – paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will contain 100 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. Paper 2 will consist of essay writing of 60 marks. There will be negative marking and one-third of marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Examinees will get two hours to write essays. An interview will be conducted for 60 marks in offline mode.
