Try NowNEW DELHI, MAY 2: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada has announced AP EAMCET 2018 result in online mode, today, May 2. Along with the result, the examination conducting authority has also released the rank list for the state level engineering entrance test. Bhogi Suraj Krishna who topped JEE Main 2018 is also the first rank holder for the entrance exam.

About 1,38,000 students have qualified from 1,99, 309 candidates who appeared for the engineering entrance exam. The entrance exam was held in online mode from April 22 to 25.
In order to check their result for the test, candidates have to enter their AP EAMCET registration/application number and Hall Ticket on the result portal. Candidates must check their result and take a printout of the result and keep it safe with them till the admission process gets complete.
Through the result, candidates can know their combined score, weightage, secured marks, group total & maximum scores, intermediate percentage, rank and final result.
While the result was slated to be declared on May 5, JNTU Kakinada has announced the result 3 days in advance.
Only those candidates are considered qualified in the state level entrance exam who have secured at least 25% marks out of the total marks. Candidates having secured 25% marks or above in the entrance test will only be considered for the rank list. While preparing the rank list, 75% weightage is given to the normalised score of AP EAMCET, while 25% weightage is given to marks secured in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics in class XII qualifying exam.
Qualifying candidates will be called for counselling from May 26 for document verification, fee payment and seat allotment.
