JNU to host 8th convocation ceremony on February 6

NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will host the 8th convocation ceremony on February 6, 2025. The ceremony will held at the Prajnan Bhavan, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Auditorium in New Delhi from 10 am.

The convocation ceremony will be attended by Sreedhara Panicker Somanath the former chairman, of ISRO, guest of honour Sant Kumar Sanganeria the founder chairman and CEO, of Ultra International Limited, Kanwal Sibal the chancellor at JNU and Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit the vice-chancellor at JNU along with other members of the academic community, and graduating students

“We are pleased to invite you to the 8th Convocation Ceremony of Jawaharlal Nehru University, scheduled to be held on February 6, 2025, at AICTE Auditorium, New Delhi. The convocation ceremony event will be telecasted live on the official JNU YouTube channel and its Facebook handle,” the JNU press note reads.

The events will mark a milestone in the academic journey of students. The event will also be telecasted live on JNU’s YouTube channel and its Facebook handle.

“The convocation will be graced by the presence of Chief Guest- Dr. Sreedhara Panicker Somanath, former chairman, ISRO, guest of honour - Sant Kumar Sanganeria, founder chairman and CEO, Ultra International Limited, Kanwal Sibal, chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, vice-chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University along with esteemed members of the academic community, dignitaries, and graduating students,” the JNU note adds.
