JNVST 2025 Class 6 registration deadline extended again; apply by October 7

NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025. Eligible students can now fill out the JNV Class 6 admission form by October 7 for the 2025-26 academic session by visiting the official website, cbseitms.rcil.gov.in.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test for Class 6 admission will take place in two phases. The Phase 1 exam is scheduled for April 12, 2025, at 11:30 am. The second phase of the JNVST 2025 Class 6 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2025.
Candidates can register for the JNVST exam 2025 for Class 6 admission by entering their registration number and date of birth. “The reservations to the OBC candidates shall be implemented as per Central List. The OBC candidates not included in Central list should apply as General Candidate,” the official notice read.
The original deadline for submitting online applications was September 16, 2024, but it has since been extended to September 23. As per the official prospectus, a maximum of eighty students are admitted to Class 6 in each Vidyalaya based on a selection test, depending on the availability of suitable candidates.

JNVST 2025 Admission: Required documents
Candidates are required to submit the following scanned copies in JPG format before they start filling out the application:

Candidate's signature (size: 10-100 KB)

Parent's signature (size: 10-100 KB)
-
Candidate's photograph (size: 10-100 KB)
-
Certificate signed by both parent and candidate, verified by the headmaster (size: 50-300 KB)

Residence Certificate issued by a competent Government Authority, if the candidate does not have an Aadhaar Number.
