JoSAA 2021 second mock allotment announced at josaa.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the second JoSAA 2021 mock allotment today, October 24, at josaa.nic.in. Candidates can check the JoSAA second mock allotment 2021 using their JEE Main application number and password.

The first JoSAA 2021 mock allotment was announced by the authorities on October 22. JoSAA 2021 mock allotment is done to provide an idea to the candidates about the seats they can get. Steps to check the JoSAA mock allotment 2021 are given below.

Steps to check JoSAA 2021 mock allotment (second)

• Visit josaa.nic.in.

• Click on the “JoSAA 2021 mock allotment -2” link.

• Enter JEE Main application number, password and security pin.

• Click on the “Login” button.

• JoSAA 2021 mock allotment result (second) will be displayed on the screen.

• Check the mock allotment.

JoSAA 2021 registration and choice filling is open till October 25 (5.00 pm). The actual JoSAA seat allotment 2021 round 1 will be announced on October 27. Candidates will have to complete online reporting including fee payment, document upload after the JoSAA 2021 seat allotment round 1 from October 27 to 30 (5.00 pm).

Candidates will have an option to freeze, float and slide their seats. In the freeze, the seats get locked. If candidates choose the float option, they are satisfied with their seat allotment but want to be considered for further rounds. Through the slide option, candidates can accept the allotted seat but will also be open for admission into a higher preferred course in the same institute.

JoSAA 2021 round 2 seat allotment will be announced on November 1. A total of six JoSAA 2021 counselling rounds will be conducted. JoSAA 2021 registration and choice filling was started on October 16.
