JoSAA Counselling 2024: Registration begins tomorrow for JEE Main, Advanced qualified candidates

NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the registration and choice-filling process for JoSAA counselling 2024 tomorrow, June 10, on their official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who have qualified for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 will be able to apply for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other engineering colleges.
Eligible candidates must register and fill in their preferences for courses and institutions. To aid candidates, JoSAA will display two mock seat allocations based on the choices submitted by June 14 and June 16, with results available on June 15 and June 17, respectively.
The registration and choice-filling process will conclude on June 18, followed by data reconciliation and seat verification on June 19. The first round of seat allotment is scheduled for June 20, with subsequent rounds on June 27, July 4, July 10, and July 17. Online reporting, including fee payment, document upload, and responding to queries, will be mandatory for each round.
The JEE Advanced results 2024, declared today, June 9, reveal that 48,248 candidates have qualified, with Ved Lahoti of IIT Delhi zone topping the common rank list.
JoSAA counselling process will be conducted for engineering admissions across 114 institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and 34 other technical institutes.
