NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2024 result has been declared today, June 9. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has published the JEE Advanced result link 2024 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam held on May 26 can check their JEE Advanced results using their login details such as application number, phone number and date of birth.

The JEE Advanced 2024 result will be available as a scorecard. Along with the results, the exam authorities will announce JEE Advanced 2024 topper, JEE Advanced cut-off 2024, Common Rank List (CRL), and JEE Advanced final answer key 2024.
Candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced exam will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA counselling for admission to 23 IITs and other participating institutes across the country. JoSAA will start the counselling procedure on June 10.

The registration for JoSAA counselling 2024 will begin tomorrow, June 10. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, IIT Madras, has become the first IIT to introduce sports quota in undergraduate admissions starting from the academic year 2024-25. Students will still need to clear the JEE Advanced 2024 exam in addition to a medal in sports competition so as to be eligible under the Sports Excellence Admission (SEA) category. However, the interested candidates will have to register on the new portal, jeeadv.iitm.ac.in/sea/, instead of JoSAA website.
JoSAA counselling 2024 will be conducted for admission to BTech programmes in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes. JEE Advanced 2024 result is going to be declared today. Once it's out, the counselling process will begin with registrations starting from tomorrow. The top 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible for the JoSAA counselling. 1,80,372 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in the JEE Advanced exam last year. Out of these, a total of 43773 candidates qualified the exam.
According to the JEE Advanced 2024 marking scheme for Papers 1 and 2, 3 marks will be granted for each right response, however, no marks will be awarded if none of the options are selected. While one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
A candidate is only allowed to take JEE Advanced exam twice in two consecutive years.
The JEE Advanced 2024 answer key link will be made live at jeeadv.ac.in at 10 am tomorrow, on June 9.
If a question is removed from the JEE Advanced 2024 question paper, full marks for that question will be given to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.
