JoSAA Counselling 2026: Registration, choice filling begin tomorrow for BTech

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has issued the JoSAA Counselling 2026 schedule for admission to Engineering programmes. JEE Advanced 2026 qualified candidates will be able to register for the JoSAA counselling 2026 and participate in the choice filling process from tomorrow. The registration link will be active at 5 pm at josaa.nic.in. JEE Advanced Result 2026 Out LIVE.
The JoSAA Counselling 2026 will be held for BTech aspirants aiming to secure engineering seats at participating institutes. A total of 121 institutes, including 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other- GFTIs ) will admit candidates as per their rank, category, choices filling, availability of seats, academic performance.
The JoSAA Counselling 2026 will be conducted in five rounds and an additional round for IITs, and NITs system only.
Moreover, candidates who will qualify in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to fill in their AAT-specific choices from June 7, according to the schedule.
The authority will publish the mock seat allocation 1 on June 7 at 8 pm. The allocation will be done on the basis of choices filled by the candidates.
