Candidates, who will qualify the entrance tests will be eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling session for admission to BTech engineering courses.

The counselling session for the JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted by JoSAA for admissions to top IITs, National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFITs).
The registration link for JoSAA counselling on the official website at josaa.nic.in next month. The counselling process includes registration, JEE Advanced choice filling, seat allotment, accepting the allotment, payment of counselling fees, and reporting to the allotted institutes for document verification and admission.

IIT Kanpur conducted the JEE Advanced 2025 on May 18 in two shifts. The forenoon shift was held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift took place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2025 will be issued on May 26 and the objection facility will be available till May 27.
Notably, the institute will declare the JEE Advanced 2025 final answer key on June 2, 2025 on its official website at jeeadv.ac.in.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 1, 2, 3, and 4 marks for each right answer in different questions as per its marking, whereas two marks will be deducted for each wrong response.
JoSAA Counselling 2025: Eligibility, expected marks vs rank
Candidates with 75% marks aggregate in Class 12 are eligible for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced 2025.
