KEA withdraws Karnataka NEET UG mop-up round allotment 2024; revised result today

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has withdrawn the provisional seat allotment result for the mop-up round of Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024. The counselling authority will announce the revised result of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 counselling today, October 18, after 1 pm.
Candidates who participated in the third round of state medical, dental counselling will be able to check their provisional seat allotment result on the official website of KEA, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in or kea.kar.nic.in.
KEA informed candidates that they can send objections, if any, against the provisional seat allotment via email before 6 pm today.
“KEA has conducted the KIMS and mop-up round allotment simultaneously, during the process certain technical issues have led to some error in the already published provisional mop-up round result on 16-10-2024. Hence, mop-up round provisional result published on 16-10-2024 is withdrawn with immediate effect,” said the exam authority citing the reason for withdrawal of the allotment result.

The Karnataka government had issued the seat matrix, adding 100 medical seats to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, KEA said and added that candidates who were allotted seats in the first and second round were also allowed to enter options for KIMS if interested.
The option-entry portal for the Karnataka NEET UG mop-up round counselling 2024 was enabled from October 7 to October 15.
