KARTET 2023 application begins at schooleducation.kar.nic.in; apply till August 5

The KARTET 2023 exam will be held on September 3, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Department of School Education, Karnataka started the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2023 online registration process. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the KARTET application form 2023 through the official website-- schooleducation.kar.nic.in.
The application process started on July 14 and candidates can register for KARTET till August 5, 2023. The KARTET 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on September 3. Candidates can download the admit card for the exam between August 28 to September 1, 2023.

To be eligible for KARTET for upper primary teacher (Class 6 to 8) posts, a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (BEd) or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) is necessary.
While candidates applying for the primary teacher (Class 1 to 5) posts, need to have qualified Class 12th with a minimum of 50 percent marks along with a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).
KARTET 2022: Steps to apply online
- Visit the official website, schooleducation.kar.nic.in
- Click on the KARTET application form 2023 link on the homepage.
- Register to generate the login credentials.
- Login in with the credentials and fill in the application form, upload the asked documents and pay the application fee
- Once done, submit the form.
- Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for reference.
