Karunya University organises techno-management fest

Over 150 teams exhibited projects to find solutions for SDGs by UN. The theme of event was 'mindful solutions krafted for global wellbeing.'
NEW DELHI: Karunya deemed University hosted a techno-management event, 'Mindkraft 23'. The two-day event was based on the theme 'mindful solutions krafted for global wellbeing.' The event allowed students to showcase their innovative ideas.
The event provided a platform for students to explore, collaborate and find solutions to challenges aligned to the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) by the united nations. Students from engineering departments such as computer science, aerospace, biomedical along with applied chemistry and physics and nano science, digital sciences, commerce and international trade and management studies, agriculture, and food processing technology participated and showcased their models.

Mindkraft 23 witnessed a total of 150 teams exhibiting their projects and 90 technical events. Some of the projects at the event were- waste collecting robot hydraulic braking system, AI-based decision support system for traffic control, hybrid rocket motor, and smart biopolymer package using betacyanin indicator and pomegranate peel-ZnO nanoparticles for Meat Preservation, among others.
In addition to the technical parts, the event also had a food court, car show, selfie booth, and other various activities for the students. "Overall, Mindkraft 23 was a huge success, and it is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students of Karunya deemed university in organizing such an event. The event was a perfect platform for young minds to showcase their technical skills, collaborate, and find innovative solutions for complex challenges," said a press statement.
