NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct KCET 2021 on August 28 and 29 at 530 exam centres across the state, according to The Indian Express report. The Kannada language test will be conducted on August 30.
As per the report, Minister of higher education, CN Ashwatha Narayana informed about the number of KCET 2021 exam centres in the state for the upcoming exam. The minister also said that “Strict precautionary measures will be adhered to in all the centres in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the home department will depute the sufficient number of police personnel at all the examination centres of the respective districts on the days of the test.”

According to the report, one observer of the assistant commissioner cadre has been appointed to each KCET 2021 exam centre by the deputy commissioners of the respective districts.
Total 20,415 officers have been deployed for the examination duties at KCET exam centres 2021.
A total number of 530 observers, 530 custodians, approximately 8409 invigilators, 1060 special invigilation squad members have also been appointed to the examination duties.
All COVID-19 norms like maintaining social distancing must be followed at the exam centres of KCET 2021.
It is mandatory for the students to wear face masks to the exam centres.
Candidates will not be allowed to wear/carry any type of wristwatch to the KCET examination hall.
Candidates have to compulsorily carry their KCET 2021 admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam centres.
As per the report, a total of 2,01,816 candidates have registered for Karnataka CET 2021 and the exam will be conducted at 86 test centres located in Bengaluru and 444 test centres outside Bengaluru. The Kannada language test, which is conducted for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, will be held at six cities — Bidar, Belagavi, Vijaypura, Ballari, Mangalore, and Bangalore. The report also added that a total of 1,682 students have registered for the language test.
KCET 2021 admit card has been released on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea on August 12. Candidates can download the KCET admit card 2021 using their registration number and date of birth.
