KCET 2024 Counselling: KEA extends registration deadline for medical courses till August 19

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has reopened the portal to register for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses and link NEET UG 2024 roll number for KCET 2024 counselling. Interested candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility Entrance Test can apply for the counselling and pay the fee and those who have already registered can link their roll number through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The last date to apply for KCET counselling 2024 for MBBS, BDS admissions is Sugust 19. “On the request of the candidates and parents, online portal is once again opened from 6.00 pm on 16-08-2024 till 10.00 am on 19-08-2024, for new registration and to link UG NEET roll number by the already registered UGCET 2024 candidates. Interested candidates who have qualified in UG NEET 2024 can register and apply online and pay the fees. (Already registered need not register again),” said KEA in an official notification.
The exam authority asked the OCI, PIO, NRI, foreign nationals and NRI ward and category-2 to category-8 candidates in St John Medical College, Bangalore, to appear in person for verification of documents at KEA office on August 19 from 11 am to 2 pm with all the relevant original documents as per their eligibility.
Candidates who did not attend document verification between August 7 and 9 and August 12 and 15, can also appear for verification on August 19 with all the required documents.
Iterating that this is the last and final chance provided to candidates for registration, KEA added, “As per NMC/NCISM; all the rounds of counseling including stray vacancy round will be conducted only by KEA in online mode, all the UG NEET 2024 qualified candidates are hereby advised to register online and complete the document verification process in KEA to become eligible for admission to UG Medical and Dental and AYUSH Courses in the State of Karnataka.
