KCET 2024 Counselling: Round 1 option entry open until further notice; naturopathy, yoga seats added

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the option entry portal for naturopathy and yoga courses in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 counselling. The authority informed that the option entry window is open until further orders. Candidates participating in the counselling can check the seat matrix and exercise options by visiting the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The Karnataka UGCET counselling 2024 is being conducted for admission to engineering, architecture, BSc Nursing, farm science, veterinary, BPharma, Pharm D, and other programmes. Students who qualified KCET 2024 can apply for engineering, architecture admissions.
“On 29-07-2024, goverrnment has issued the seat matrix for naturopathy and yoga courses. Interested and eligible candidates can add the options in the order of priority for naturopathy and yoga seats from 30-07-2024. Option entry portal is kept open. Eligible candidates can continue with the entry of options in the order of priority for engineering, architecture, BSc (nursing), farm science, veterinary, b-pharma, pharm-d etc courses,” said KEA in an official notice.
The option entry includes selection of preferred courses and colleges in the order of priority. KEA will allot seats to the applicants on the basis of their preferences, scores, and availability of seats.
As per the counselling schedule, candidates were earlier given seven days to enter the options in the order of their preference.
KCET Counselling 2024: How to enter options?
- Go to the official website of KEA, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
- Click on the admissions tab and select UGCET
- Now, click on the link “first round option entry link”
- Candidates will be directed to another page
- Now, enter the CET number and captcha code
