KEA trains district-level master trainers ahead of recruitment exams for 72,000 posts

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is preparing to conduct a series of recruitment examinations scheduled to take place in the coming days.As part of the preparations, the authority has appointed examination master trainers at the district level to help ensure the exams are conducted smoothly.

The master trainer will act as a link between KEA and the district administrations during the recruitment examinations process. KEA also organised training for the appointed trainers to familiarise them with the procedure and responsibilities involved in conducting the examinations.

KPSC Secretary Jyothi inaugurated a workshop for the master trainers at the examination authority on Monday. During the workshop,she also released a guidebook intended to assist officials in conducting recruitment examinations.

Master trainer receive full-day training

At KEA's request, district commissioners appointed two senior lectors from each district as master trainers. The appointed lectures participated in a fully-day training programme during the workshop.

Speaking at the event, Jyothi said that officials have a major responsibility to instil confidence among applicants appearing for the examinations. She advised the master trainers to work at the district level to support this objective.

KEA handling major share of recruitment

Jyothi said the state government has decided to recruit candidates for 72,000 posts,with KEA handling a major share of these recruitments.She stressed that the trainers receiving the training must ensure that the examinations are conducted without any lapses.

"Therefore,the trainers receiving training here must ensure that examinations are conducted without any lapse,"she said.

Prasanna stresses need for exam integrity

KEA Executive Director H.Prasanna described conducting examinations as a highly sensitive responsibility. He noted that while many applicants prepare seriously with the objective of securing employment, some may look for illegal means to get recruited.

He advised everyone involved in the examination process to perform their assigned responsibilities honestly and efficiently.

Trainers to coordinate district-level operations

Prasanna said district commissioners have appointed two senior lecturers from each district as master trainers and described them as KEA's "ambassadors". He explained that KEA manages activities before and after the examinations, while the cooperation of the master trainers is required to handle examination-day responsibilities smoothly.

He added that KEA's decisions would be communicated to the master trainers from time to time. The trainers would then coordinate with other personnel in their respective districts and assist in conducting the examinations successfully without confusion.

Officials clarify procedures during workshop

KEA administrative officer Islavuddin Gadyal briefed the master trainers through a demonstration during the workshop. The senior lectures also raised several questions during the session and clarified their doubts. KEA joint controller of examination R. Manjunath delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the workshop.
