NEW DELHI: The Kerala Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has declared the Kerala Plus Two(+2) or Class 12 results today, May 9. Students who appeared for the exam can check their Kerala class 12 results 2024 by visiting the official websites at keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in and pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in. According to the DHSE Kerala Plus Two result 2024 statistics, the pass rate has dropped by 4.26% from the previous percentage. This time, the pass percentage is 78.69, whereas in 2023 it was 82.95. This time, 63 schools achieved 100 percent according to the Plus Two result 2024, which is a decrease from last year's 78 schools.
As per the Kerala Plus Two result 2024 figures, aided schools performed better than all other recording a pass percentage of 82.47%. Aided schools had 184,490 students appearing, with 152,147 passing. In government schools, out of 163,920 students who appeared, 123,046 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 75.06%. Meanwhile, unaided schools saw 26,071 students appearing, with 19,425 passing, leading to a pass percentage of 74.51%. As per the DHSE Kerala Plus Two result 2024, in the science stream, out of 189,411 students who appeared for the exams, 160,696 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 84.84%. In the humanities stream, 76,235 students sat for the exams, with 51,144 passing, leading to a pass percentage of 67.09%. Similarly, in the commerce stream, 109,109 students took the exams, and 83,048 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 76.11%.
Ernakulam district achieved the highest pass percentage in the Kerala Plus Two results 2024, standing at 84.12%, whereas Wayanad recorded the lowest pass percentage at 72.13%. In the previous year, Malappuram district boasted the highest count of A+ students, totaling 4,897, while Ernakulam emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 87.55%.
As per the Kerala Plus Two results 2024 data, a total of 31,214 students in the science stream, 2,753 students in the humanities stream, and 5,275 students in the commerce stream achieved an A+ grade. Notably, Malappuram district stood out with the highest number of students receiving full A+ grades, totaling 5,659 students across all streams.
