Thiruvananthapuram: The Keralam State Child Rights Commission on Sunday said that a case has been registered in connection with a student being made to apologise during the assembly at a private higher secondary school in the coastal Alappuzha district.
The commission took the action based on videos circulating on social media regarding a student of Vallamangalam Higher Secondary School in Cherthala, Alappuzha, being made to apologise during the assembly.

The commission has called for reports from the Chengannur Regional Deputy Director (RDD), District Child Protection Officer and the school principal.
