NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline to register for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 till October 9. The registration window will reopen on October 3. Candidates who have not registered yet can fill the KSET 2023 application form through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
“The date for submission of online application for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 for the post of assistant professor will be extended from October 3, 2023 to October 9, 2023, 5 pm,” the KEA said in an official notice. Accordingly, the last date for fee payment “through digitzed post offices” has been extended till October 11.
KSET 2023 will be conducted on November 26 for recruitment of assistant professors. Earlier, the last date to apply for the exam was today, September 30.
Applicants belonging to the general, CAT-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other states will have to pay Rs 1,000 as the examination fee whereas CAT-1A, SC, ST, PwD, and transgender candidates will be required to pay Rs 700.
The KSET 2023 exam will be held for 41 subjects in two sessions – first session for a duration of one hour from 10 am to 11 am and the second session for two hours from 12 noon to 2 pm. The test will consist of two papers having multiple-choice questions. Paper 1 will comprise 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks whereas paper 2 will have 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks.
