KTET June 2025 exam deferred to September 18 and 19; May session test to be held on September 11

KTET June 2025 admit card will be issued on August 14. The test is conducted in four categories to assess eligibility for teaching positions from lower primary to high school in Kerala.
The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has postponed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) May and June 2025 sessions. As per the revised schedule, the KTET May 2025 exam, which was scheduled for in-service teachers, will now be held on September 11, 2025. The KTET June 2025 exam will be conducted on September 18 and 19, 2025.
“KTET May 2025 (For Service Teachers Only) – Exam postponed to 11 September 2025. KTET June 2025 – Exam postponed to 18 and 19 September 2025,” the official website said.
As per the official schedule, the KTET June 2025 admit card will be issued on August 14. Initially, the KTET June 2025 exam was scheduled to be held on August 23 and 24. The updated exam dates are available on the official KTET portal — ktet.kerala.gov.in.

KTET June 2025 exam in two sessions
The Kerala TET June 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions each day. The morning session will take place from shift 1 from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon session from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. KTET is a state-level eligibility test conducted in four categories to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions at different school levels, from lower primary to high school in Kerala.
Category 1 is for candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Category 2 is for those targeting Classes 6 to 8. Category 3 applies to candidates seeking teaching roles in Classes 9 and 10. Category 4 is designated for language teachers (Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu), specialist subject teachers (Art, Physical Education), and those teaching subjects not included in the first three categories.
