KVPY 2018 application form released; apply before August 31

NEW DELHI, JULY 11: Application form of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) 2018 has been released online by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) on July 11, 2018. The last date to submit the completely filled application form is August 31, 2018. The exam is slated to be held on November 4, 2018 in online mode across India. Candidates can find below the three steps to apply successfully:

Step 1: The first stage of the application form is registration.

Step 2: Filling personal and academic details, choosing test centres and uploading of photograph, signature and other certificates, as applicable.

Step 3: Payment of application fees to be paid only at the application portal using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

The application fee for KVPY 2018 is as under:

• General/OBC Category: Rs. 1000
• SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 500 (Bank Charges extra)

About KVPY

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna is administered by Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The exam is held for granting scholarships up to Ph.D level to selected candidates under three streams - SA, SX and SB. The selection procedure of KVPY comprises an aptitude test followed by an interview by the IISc. Students of class 11, 12 and UG first year with the minimum qualifying marks in the last qualifying exam are eligible to apply for KVPY 2018.
