IIM CAT exam 2026 registration closes today

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will close the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 registration today, September 22 at 5 pm. Candidates can apply for IIM CAT 2026 on the official website at iimcat.ac.in.

IIM Indore will conduct CAT 2026 exam on November 29 in three sessions, at 170 test centres. CAT 2026 application fee for SC, ST, and PwBD is Rs 1,350, and other candidates have to pay Rs 2,700.

IIM Indore will issue the CAT admit card 2026 from November 4 to 29, and the results will be announced in the first week of January 2027. CAT 2026 scores will remain valid until December 31, 2027.

IIM CAT MBA entrance exam is held for admission to management courses in IIMs and other B-schools across the country. Last year, around 2.58 lakh candidates took CAT, and among them, 12 achieved the 100th percentile, including 10 male and 2 female candidates.

CAT Exam Pattern 2026

The CAT paper will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode and comprises three sections, including verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA).

The CAT exam is conducted in three slots: Slot 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, Slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and Slot 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. As per the CAT 2026 marking scheme, three marks will be given for correct answers, and one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
