New Delhi, November 3: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has begun KVS 2018 exam in pen and paper based mode. The exam for the post of Principal & Vice Principal is being conducted on November 3 while the exam for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs will be held on December 22 and 23 at 36 cities across India. The exam is being conducted in pen and paper mode in two sessions – morning and afternoon. KVS recruitment exam comprises of four parts to be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The morning session is being held from 10 am to 12:30 pm while afternoon session will commence from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

For the post of Principal & Vice Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs, the exam pattern of KVS 2018 has been released. The exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions carrying 150 marks in total. There will be four parts – General English, General Hindi (Part – I), General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability, Computer Literacy (Part – II), Education (Part – III), Administration & Finance (Part – IV).

On the exam day candidates must carry a copy of the admit card along with Aadhaar card, one valid ID proof such as PAN card, passport, driving license, voter ID card, college identity card. The Aadhaar card and ID proof of candidates have to bear the same name as that on the admit card of KVS 2018 without which the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

The result of KVS 2018 for the posts of Principal and Vice-Principal is expected to be announced in the first week of December while for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs, the result will be announced in January 2019.

Through KVS recruitment 2018 as many as 8339 vacancies will be filled for the Principal and Vice-Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs at various KVS schools across the country.
