KVS Admission 2024-25: Registration for Class 1-12 begins at 10 am; 1st selection list on April 19

NEW DELHI: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will begin the registration for admission to Classes 1 to 12 for the academic year 2024-25 from today at 10 am. The KV Sangathan recently launched a new portal, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, exclusively for applying for KVS Class 1 admission 2024.

The last date to submit the application form for Class 1 is April 15, while those seeking admission for Class 2 and above levels will have to register by April 10. Applicants should note that the registration process for Class 11 will begin 10 days after the declaration of Class 10 board exam results 2024.

As per the schedule , the KVS Class 1 first selection list will be published on April 19. If seats remain vacant, the Sangathan will declare 2nd provisionally selected students for admission on April 29. The selection will be made in the order given here.

The KVS has instructed all newly opened Kendriya Vidyalayas till February 2024 to conduct the KV Class 1 admission 2024 process through the OLA portal and for other classes in offline mode only.

KVS Balvatika admission 2024

Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 admissions will be done in selected KVs through offline mode only. All provisions of Class 1 admission will be applicable for the KVS Balvatika 1 admission in a total of 50 KVs.

“For Balvatika 2 and 3, provisions for class 2 onwards admission, will be applicable. In these classes, fresh admissions will be granted only where the class strength is less than 32. 445 KVs where Balvatika 3 alone was opened, all provisions of Class I admission in KVs, will be applicable to Balvatika-3,” it said.

KVS Class 1-12 admission 2024

Students and guardians will have to keep the following details and documents ready before proceeding to fill up the application form.

• a valid mobile number with Indian SIM card,
• a valid email address,
• a digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission. The photograph should be in JPEG file of size at most 256KB,
• a scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate in JPEG or PDF format of size of maximum file size 256KB.
• EWS certificate issued by the government authority.
• transfer details of parent whose service credentials will be used in the application.
